Product Usage

Bromochlorohydantoin (BCDMH) is a highly effective, broad-spectrum oxidizing biocide widely used in various applications. In water treatment, it is commonly used for disinfection of swimming pools, spas, and industrial recirculating cooling water, slowly releasing hypobromous and hypochlorous acids to maintain high biocidal activity across a wide pH range, effectively controlling bacteria and algae growth. In agriculture, it is used to control bacterial diseases in vegetables, fruit trees, and field crops, such as rice bacterial leaf blight. Additionally, it plays an important role in drinking water disinfection, aquaculture, and sterilization and deodorization in public health facilities.
