Tetrabutylammonium Bromide (TBAB for short), with CAS No. 1643-19-2 and chemical formula C₁₆H₃₆BrN, appears as white crystalline powder, easily soluble in solvents such as water, ethanol and acetone, and is a commonly used quaternary ammonium salt phase transfer catalyst. Its core application is in the field of organic synthesis.
