Copper Chromite, with CAS numbers including 12018-10-9 and 12053-18-8, has a chemical formula mainly of CrCuO₃ or CuCr₂O₄. It appears as black powder, with a spinel crystal structure, excellent thermal and chemical stability, and both catalytic activity and wear resistance. Its core application is in the catalytic field. As an efficient catalyst, it is widely used in hydrogenation and oxidation reactions in organic synthesis, can selectively reduce functional groups such as aldehydes, ketones and esters, and is also used in oil hydrogenation to prepare biofuels, making it a key raw material for fine chemical synthesis. In the aerospace field, it is used as a burn rate catalyst for solid propellants, which can optimize ammonium perchlorate decomposition and improve propellant combustion efficiency.
